Role: UX Lead

The goal of this project is to improve the Audible audiobook page on Amazon, with a business focus on the 70% of members who join Audible with an audiobook.

I will solve small problems first then iterate to an ideal state that elevates the audiobook as an immersive high-quality performance available with membership.


So far I have completed the research phase. I gathered known customer pain points, customer service calls, and past Audible and Amazon research relevant to this page across surfaces and devices. I also did extensive competitive analysis and audits of the current Audible detail page experience. 

In addition, I ran a brainstorming session with all key stakeholders from product, dev, marketing and UX. In this session, we identified additional pain points and opportunities.

Based on this research, I created a synthesis of the data, to highlight the most important findings.

I created a customer journey map to show the ideal day-in-the-life of a customer experiencing the enhanced product details page. 

I also created a mapping of all book types, customer types, and buy box states in order to identify the various page states.
